So the 2016 Drone Racing Championship (DRL) season has just come to an end and your looking to get a race drone. 305Drones has you covered with everything from cheap and easy to use, to building your own drone and entering competitions. So with no further ado lets get right into it.
Lets start with the best basic complete unit for someone to get started with. The RISE VUSION 250 RTF is one of the best inexpensive drones you can get into drone racing with. The combo includes drone, remote, monitor with goggle mount, battery and charger for just $339. We have a demo here in the shop if you ever get a chance to stop by, check it out.
Next up you got the HorizonHobby Conspiracy 220 BNF Basic which uses Spektrum tech and comes ready to run minus battery and goggles for just $349. This drone can is on the edge of being race capable and comes with a rev6 flight controller. We recommend this for anyone that wants near ImmersionRC quality but for $150 less.
Next needs no introduction. We have the ImmersionRC Vortex series. Currently we carry 3 of the 4 versions they make and the main differences between the models are if it comes with a receiver, which motors it comes with, which props and colors. These are the models you get if you want an RTF kit that comes as close to race ready as possible with out building one yourself.
Last but certainly not least, we have the Inductrix FPV that amateurs and pros alike all own and no fleet is complete with out it.
